I know it has been a while, but WE ARE BACK! There has been so much going on with only 32 days left till the big day!!! We are getting very excited. Recently we have had some fun events, like Paul and Jesse's wedding, the Carollo/Girgenti family picnic, and our engagement pictures taken by our wedding photographers (I will be posting those soon). Me and mike have been busy putting the finishing touches on our home. Yesterday, we spent the whole fourth of july weeding, planting flowers, and fixing our landscaping. ;) Anyways, it's nice to be back, I will try to stay more current. XOX Bee n' Mike

Miss my moon
Me and Mike got to see each other this whole past weekend (which NEVER happens by the way), and I think I just got way too spoiled with all of his attention. Tonight, I was really going through some Mike withdrawals, and it is so funny because I just saw him yesterday, and today I'm thinking "wow... I really miss that boy...." He is just the cutest best thing that was ever invented ;)
This past Saturday, I threw him his first "real" birthday party. Me and Amber had a double surprise party for him and jesse, and yes... they were both very surprised. It was a lot of fun. Tomorrow night is our first week of the 6 for pre-marital counseling through the church, so I am pretty excited for that. Anyways, We'll keep you posted.

Stain... Stain... Stain...
We had no idea what we were going to do with our outdated, old, ugly cabinets in our kitchen... So we had the CRAZY idea to sand them all down to the bare bone (not an easy task let me tell you), and restain. It took me 6 hours to sand down 17 cabinet facings, and tonight, me and mike were at the house from ~4:14-10. We also decided to sand our fireplace ledges down because they were so dark, and old, and I figured we mine as well since our whole house is pretty much covered in sawdust... :) Anyway, me and Mike were taking turns with the sander, the goggles, and the filtered mask. The Stain remover and stain are SOOOO POTENT, I actually started getting nauseous toward the end of the night :/
WOW... Night and Day difference
Lil hard worker ;)
Much love, Will keep you updated!!! XOX Bee n' Mike

We L♥VE our bathroom
Me n' my moonbeam
So, when we first bought this house, our bathroom was pretty much a dump. We decided to paint it the dark dark purple (which a lot of people had their doubts about :) ), and then I found this decorative wood molding at Michaels. Because our "cut in" job was far from perfect due to our uneven ceiling and lumpy walls, it was driving me crazy. So I painted the molding black, and nailed them up. It ended up turning out really nice, and it was soooo cheap (but time consuming). So at least we love our bathroom, but now we have the rest of the house to do :)
All in good time....
This past weekend, Uncle Mike, Rachel, My dad, and a few other people stopped by and helped out. It makes such a difference when we have a good team working on the house. We finally got to painting the back room, and we are now left with the kitchen and the basement. We are planning on sanding down all of our OLD oak cabinets in the kitchen, and re-staining them... That is going to take A LOT of patience. Anyways, we are getting excited, and we have a moving day! It will be nice to have Mike only 7 minutes from my parents house. :)

Registering!!!!
Mike and I had such a FUN time registering for all of the stuff that we want in our future home together! :) We didn't understand all the warnings we had gotten about it being a long tough day, and being prepared.. We had a blast!!! We registered at Bed, Bath, and Beyond, JCPennys, and Target. We only registered for a few things at target (the things that bb&b didn't have), and we found our dishes and glasses at JcPennys. Anyways, the wedding is coming up so quick! It is so exciting. Our house is coming along... It is a work in progress, and we get over there as often as we can (which isn't too often). Step by step...

Coming Along
The photos decided to print themselves backwards, so instead of the "before and afters," It's more like... the afters and the before.." We are pretty much done with the whole front of our house, and now we have to work on the kitchen, family room, and bathroom. We are pretty excited, and glad that we still have a good five months to fix it up. XOXO Bee n' Mike

Blessed
My baby got in such a bad accident today. I was at work, and Mrs. Moon walks in around 1 o'clock. I knew something was wrong, and she told me that Mike was in a serious accident and was brought to the hospital by an ambulance. I left work immediately, and we made our way over to Royal Oak Beaumont. Me, Mr. and Mrs. Moon, Grandma, my mom, and Daniel had to wait a good 2 hours before we could even see Mike. He was being taken for CAT scans and numerous X-rays. FINALLY we were able to see the cute lil patient. I stayed with Michael at the hospital, and they wanted to do a stomach CAT scan, and a few other neurology tests. They wanted to keep him overnight for observation, but Michael was so anxious to just be home. We ended up signing discharge papers and getting out of the hospital around 6:30. For those of you who don't know exactly what happened, here is the story. Mike was driving home from school, and was going through a GREEN light at 17 mile road and Dequindre. The car in front of mike made it through the green, and there was a semi-truck to the left of mike at the green (which was blocking mikes view of the left hand side). A blue Durango ran through the RED, and T-Boned into Mike's car. All of the airbags went off in the car, and the car ended up being totaled. Mike lost consciousness, and when he came to, there were a lot of people around, and he heard someone say something about the car being on fire. He panicked, and forced himself out of the car ignoring any pain that he had. The paramedics came, and took him in a stretcher because of his back and leg pain. The woman who hit Mike was in the same ER, and unfortunately did not wear her seatbelt. She ended up with black eyes, a broken nose, and some other broken bones. She felt so bad and apologized every time we walked past her bed. Mike was so blessed to have been able to walk away from such a horrible accident... I will be waking him up every two hours tonight due to the fact that it is still possible for him to get a concussion. Thank you for your prayers, and I am going to have to spoil that boy like crazy tomorrow.
XOXO Bee n' Mike
